REGISTRATION CLOSED FOR 2026

The Bordeaux Selection is designed to showcase the full diversity of Bordeaux wines, across colours, styles and appellations, while highlighting their accessibility for everyday consumption, both in terms of taste profile and price point.

1. Entry is free
2. Deadline for entering online is Sunday 15th March 2026
3. Deadline for submitting 3 x bottles of each wine is Sunday 15th March 2026
4. Wines will be selected by an expert panel of 16-20 judges (comprising buyers for major UK retailers and distributors, sommeliers, journalists and educators), via a blind tasting in mid-April
5. Selected wines will feature in all Bordeaux promotional activity in 2026 across PR, events, digital & social media, to both trade and consumers which reached an expected audience of well over 100 million.

Wines must:

1. Be truly representative of Bordeaux, and in particular their appellation
2. Offer high quality to price ratio
3. Be priced from £8+ in off-trade retail. Please note, the focus of the Selection is on wines for everyday consumption, rather than fine wines.
4. Be accessible for a consumer to purchase for home consumption in the UK through at least one of the following off-trade outlets – supermarkets, multiple wine specialists, independent wine merchants (if they offer national delivery) and online wine retailers. A restaurant/bar listing alone is NOT sufficient for a wine to be entered.
5. Be the vintage available and on sale in the UK market from May 2026 – 2027

Simply submit details of the wines by completing this application form. Please note that entry is limited to 20 wines per retailer, agent or producer. If you are a producer, please liaise with your UK retailer or distributor to ensure entries are not duplicated.

• Wines must be received in the UK by Sunday 15th March 2026 (3 x bottles of each SKU)

The results of the tasting will be announced in late April 2026. If one of your wines is selected, we will ask you to provide 6 further free bottles for promotional activities throughout the year – any stock required beyond that will be purchased from you/your UK stockist.
